SmartSite Oversight Committee
Quick Links
Sponsor: Peter M. Siegel, vice provost for Information and Educational Technology
Status: In Spring 2008, Vice Provost Siegel formed a committee to oversee the development of SmartSite, the campus' course management and collaboration system. The SmartSite Oversight Committee began meeting bi-weekly in April and in mid-May its preliminary recommendations were endorsed by the main campus IT advisory group (CCFIT) and were approved by Vice Provost Siegel shortly thereafter. An email update was sent to all faculty in early June.
In October 2008, the committee was re-established for the 2008-09 academic year, under the leadership of Susan Keen and Lori Lubin.
